When it comes to Antennas, lets face it - the Fire, Police, and Public Service sectors know whats up. Laird Antennas have outright dominated these fields for years. Its hard to find any vehicle in these fields that doesnt use a Laird Antenna!

This is a GROUND PLANE antenna.
This antenna should be mounted on a roof, or in a situation where is has a large amount of metal "sheet" directly under it. If you are mouting it on a rack, a roll cage tab, or other situatuon where you do not have a large metal "sheet" directly under it, please see our No Ground Plane "NGP" antennas.
