Does TEDS PRO work with a standard 7-way RV connector?
Yes — TEDS PRO uses a genuine POLLAK® or CURT® OEM-style 7-way RV / 4-way flat combination connector, allowing the vast majority of RV, utility, cargo, and equipment trailers to plug directly into the tester without adapters. Additional adapters are available for other trailer connector styles.
What does the Auto-Test switch do?
Auto Test Mode is an exclusive feature and a major reason many shops choose this unit. When enabled, TEDS PRO automatically cycles through the lighting circuits every few seconds: left turn, right turn, running, and reverse/backup. This allows true one-person testing without walking back and forth to operate vehicle switches.
Why does load-simulated testing matter?
Some trailer faults only show up when a circuit is actually drawing current. Load simulation helps reveal weak grounds, corroded connections, and voltage drop that a simple no-load test can miss.
Can I use it for brake diagnostics?
